Two ways to access Online Program Registration:

 

From the Home page of Valley of the Sun YMCA (www.valleyymca.org) click on Location Select then choose your branch.  On the branch page, click on Online Registration to continue.

 

 

Choose a Program Category

Once you have entered the Prog

  • a list of available programs during a specific time period (month and year) just fill in the blanks.  You may enter the same month in both blanks, you may enter a range of months, or you may leave them blank and see ALL available programs.

 

  • you may narrow the list down further by selecting on the program category buttons listed below or enter to see all:

·         Aquatics: 5 and younger

·         Aquatics: 6 and up

·         Adult Programs and Sports

·         Camp and After School Care

·         Progressive Gymnastics

·         Preschool Gymnastics

·         Special Programs

·         Urban Junior Golf

·         Youth Programs

·         Youth Sports

 

·         You have the option of choosing “Search for Program”.  This option will allow you to search by AGE or look for a specific word in the title of the program…you may fill in all criteria or just fill in one blank, such as just AGE to find all programs available and suitable for that age.

(2) browse program list

 

Once you have selected all of your criteria whether you used the “Category” Selections or  Search for Program”, you will see a list of programs with the following info:

 

·         a brief description of the program (slide your mouse over the brief description to see if a more detailed description exists)

·         the acceptable age range

·         the fee for a Facility Member and the higher fee for Program Basic Members

·         the dates that the program begins and ends

·         the day(s) the class is held

·         how many slots still remain open

·         if there are no slots available the number of people on the waiting  list

·         last but not least the orange block with “register” is the button you click to register for that class.

 

*To see programs at another branch you have to complete your registration,  log off of the current branch and go to the branches tab and select the other branch you want to see programs for.  To see all Camp Cristina camps and programs you need to go to branches and then select YMCA Camp Cristina.

(3) sign in to register

 

Once you click on the orange button register  your login screen will appear. To login for the first time, you should have your membership card in front of you.  Only members over the age of 18 will be allowed to login…

 

  • You have two options for logging in…

 

 

 

  • The first option:
  • Look at Your Valley of the Sun YMCA Membership ID Card, You should see a 5 or 6 digit number above the bar code on the right.  In the example provided above, this number is 222452…this is the “ymca id number”. Enter your ymca id number in the blank provided. 

 

  • After you enter your id number, you need to enter your password.  The first time you login you should use your first and last initials plus your birth date.   In the example above the password would be ls060165  Note: the password should be in lower case and the month, day and year should each be represented by two digits.  If you are logging in for a Youth Membership or a Program Membership for someone under the age of 18, the parent should use the Youth or Program Members YMCA id number, inititals and birthdate.

 

  • Once you have entered your ‘first time login password’ click on Login or press Enter.

 

  • The second option:

·         if you do not have your Membership ID Card in front of you, you can also type in your last name, first name and the same password as described above…your name & password will have to match what our database holds, so if your name is Stephen and we have you in our database as Steve, it will not allow you to login.  You membership ID card has your name printed exactly the same as we have in our database.

 

  • The next screen that comes up will have each member on your Valley of the Sun YMCA membership listed…click on YOUR name (unless you are logging in for a Youth Member).  Your ID Number, Name, and if we have your email address will appear.  Click on UPDATE YOUR MEMBERSHIP.  You should enter in your email address that you want all registration confirmations/receipts to go to AND enter in a new password…note your new password will be in a secured server…do not use strange characters or spaces in the password, and it IS case sensitive so remember whether something is capitalized or not. Click on “Update Info”.  You may update your email or password at anytime and as often as you need to.

 

  • A screen will come up showing you what your information was updated to and you may click on continue from here.

 

  • You can now register for the program you selected above…

 

  • Once you are logged in and try to register, the program checks the age of the member and the membership type, to make sure the member is eligible for the program, if either of the criteria do not match the eligible criteria for the program, the registration will not be allowed.  If you believe that this IS the class that the member should be in, you will need to contact the appropriate branch to find out what you need to do to be eligible for this program.

(4) submit payment information

 

Once you have selected the program you want to register for you must enter your credit card information.

 

  • You must first enter your credit card information, exactly as it appears on your credit card and choose whether you want the credit card information saved “only” for this session.  We do not save your credit card information with cookies or any other means after you log off.  Click on Continue.  If you are registering for a Youth or Program Member under 18, it should default to the name of a parent…if it doesn’t you must enter in the parents name that is on the credit card.

 

  • You will now see the cost of the program and your credit card info…if you choose:

·         “Add to Cart” it will total the programs and allow you to “continue” adding on more programs

·         REGISTER to complete the registration process

·         Rosters to see what your registration history is so far

·         Delete the program you just registered for

·         Back or Logoff to stop registration completely.

 

·         If you choose Add to Cart and then continue you can Back up and choose another member on your membership to register…so register the whole family in one shopping trip…you will not have to login or enter your credit card information more than once a trip.

(5) submit registration

 

Once you are sure that you want to register for all the programs selected:

 

·         Click on REGISTER, you will complete the registration process and receive a confirmation on your screen for printing and you can choose to have it emailed to you for future reference.  Your credit card will be charged the Total that appears on the confirmation receipt.

(6) additional notes

 

·         Your registration will immediately update to our database at the Front Desk computers and be logged for the day…if you need to make any changes after you have confirmed your registration you will have to contact the Front Desk at your local branch to make the changes for you.

 

·         If you have a balance due on a camp registration you will be able to make that payment online by choosing ‘rosters’ which will show any outstanding amounts due to the YMCA.

·          

If you have any specific questions about a particular program or class, call the number on the left of your screen while you are in registration mode- any front desk staff will be able to answer your questions.
